Tangled Face Products Now Available!

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a nice weekend.
I am celebrating my birthday this weekend, having dinner with friends and then going out dancing 🙂
I am also settling into my new job nicely, and my boss even took me out for lunch on Friday!

Today I would like to share with you some products I have created from one of my most popular artworks on the blog, my Tangled Face Drawing.

I had to edit it a little bit since the face looked a bit strange from the glue on the other side of the paper.   That’s why I have only now finally gotten around to creating products from it.

I have added items with this design to both my Zazzle store and my new store on Society6.

Here is a little sample of the items on both websites:

Feel free to let me know if there is some other item you would like to see this design on!  Be sure to check out both shops for more options 🙂

Cheers and have a fab day,

~Julie

Tangled Sandal

flip flop

Here is another ACEO sized zentangle (2.5″ x 3.5″) I made recently, inspired by the summer, called “Tangled Sandal” .

So far my endeavor to sell these things on eBay has been a total failure in the first couple of weeks.  But, as long as I can continue to list them for free I might as well keep on trying!

I was also thinking about giving Zazzle a shot.  I can upload my designs on to stationary and accessories or clothing, which might be kind of fun! I will have to do some more research first though to find out if it’s worth it or not.  Etsy is another option for the future, but I wanted to get a few sales under my belt before venturing on to there.

Anyways enjoy my latest work, and if you like this please check out my website http://www.julieerindesigns.com.

You can also find this original piece for sale on eBay for very cheap, http://www.ebay.ca/usr/julieerindesigns.

Thanks everyone and have a great day!

Mini Tangled Face – ACEO Art Card

aceo card zendoodle face

My latest creative venture involves creating miniature zentangle inspired/collage drawings like this one.  This is the first one I made.

ACEO stands Art Cards, Editions and Originals.

ACEO’s are miniature artworks the size of baseball cards, 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size, and they are a spin off of ATC’s or Artist  Trading Cards.  They are highly collectible (and affordable), and they come in a variety of styles which are sold on eBay and other sites.

I might start doing like a drawing a day type of thing since I am pumping these things out like crazy!  They are super fun to make 🙂

If you would like to see more of my artwork please visit my website, http://www.julieerindesigns.com or check out my Zazzle store where you can purchase my artwork on a variety of things from prints to t-shirts and bags!

Have a great day,

Miniature Tangled ACEOs – Lips and Face

aceo cards batch1 small

My latest creative venture involves, as the title indicates, creating these miniature zentangle inspired/collage drawings.  This is my first batch of 3.  They are also known as ACEO’s which stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals.

ACEO’s are the size of baseball cards, 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size, and they are a spin off of ATC’s or Artist  Trading Cards.  They are highly collectible (and affordable), and they come in a variety of styles which are sold on eBay.

My plan is to throw these babies up on eBay to see if I get any takers!  They will be listed for under $10 and are very cheap to ship.

However, I want to make a good sized batch of them first before I attempt to sell, so it may be  a few weeks before I get that going.

Feedback is welcome!

UPDATE:  I am not longer selling on Ebay but you can find these and other works available for purchase in my Zazzle and Society6 stores!

Tangled Skull with Headphones

skull art design headphones

This is a new zentangle style drawing I did of a skull and crossbones wearing headphones!

It is inspired by my recent trip to Ibiza where I saw lots of t-shirts with similar designs but not tangled like this one is.

I drew this design using my Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Drawing Pens in my Pro-Art Canson 9-Inch by12-Inch Universal Sketch Book. I then scanned the drawing into Photoshop and played around with it a bit.

I couldn’t decide if I liked it better with or without the crossbones though so I made both versions!

You can also now purchase this design on tons of items in my Zazzle store!  This top is one of my most popular items!

Enjoy and have a great day,

Tangled Hands and Other Art Projects

overlapping hands drawing doodle art design colorful

I’m into the last month of school so things are getting crazy busy for me!

While I have a few minutes I wanted to share some of the best artworks I have made so far this term.  This one above is titled “Tangled Hands” aka “Healing Hands” in which I was dealing with the idea of trauma and the healing effects art can have. It is pretty large sized, like 24×36 inches so it took me forever!

I used a combination of watercolour and Sharpie pen to create this piece.

Below is an acrylic painting inspired by the historical painter Guiseppe Archimboldo.  It is called “Wine and Cheese”.  I know it’s a little funny looking, but look up Archimboldo’s works they are amazing.

Lastly I’ve added some psychedelic Op-Art I drew in my sketchbook using pencil crayons.

In other news, someone has asked to feature my recent Butterfly Zentangle piece in their online Art Zine!  It comes out in a month or two so I will definitely be sharing the link to that.

In other goods news, my boyfriend is taking me to Ibiza this summer!  Sooo exited!  I have only been to Europe one other time and I loved it so I know it’s going to be amazing.

Anyways I hope to share many more things I’ve made with you all soon, probably more once the school year is all finished.
