And yes, I did go to Cabo last year as well but we stayed in San Jose del Cabo, and this time we stayed much closer to actual Cabo San Lucas at the Hotel Riu Palace. (Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I both suffered from food poisoning on this trip, from the hotel buffet, so while the hotel itself is beautiful I can’t recommend it based on that experience.)
Cabo is a fairly short and direct flight from Vancouver, and generally cheaper for me compared to other beach locations, so it’s kind of a no-brainer. I will definitely be back to Cabo but will find somewhere else to stay next time.
Anyways, here are a few highlights from the trip:
We went out bar hopping one night and hit up Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe, another random bar and La Vaquita (a cow themed night club!). It was super fun, I definitely recommend it if you’re there. It is very easy to just walk between the different bars/clubs and quite an experience.
Today I am sharing a new version of this Zen Doodle design I drew a while ago. I decided to see how it would look in this blue and gold colour combination. I think it turned out pretty nice! What do you guys think?
Also, I have been working on some new mandala drawings! Here is a little sneak peek at those:
Make sure you are following my blog so you can see what I create with the new mandalas!
And now here are some examples of the new Blue and Gold Zen Doodles design on products in my Society6 and Redbubble stores:
I’m back from vacation and ready to share some new work!
This is a digital design I created just before I left for Mexico, it’s a turquoise and pink gradient with white bokeh and stars layered over top. I think it’s really pretty and looks nice on the products in my Society6 and Redbubble stores.
