My name is Julie and I reside in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I have been an artist since I was 5 years old, and am generally a very creative person.  I almost always feel compelled to make things with my hands.

My unique style is translated over a variety of mediums. This includes drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, digital art, and diy crafts.

I enjoy using bright colours and generally feature light and playful subjects.
While I strive to create artwork for people to enjoy, I also attempt to provoke contemplation in many of my pieces.

Inspirations include my family and friends, my cat, fashion, traveling, the city, and the beautiful nature that surrounds me here in British Columbia.

I have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and hope to continue on in my artistic journey!

In this blog I will share my art, diy crafts, products for sale, tips for other artists and creatives, travel photography, and other things that inspire  me.

I hope you will find something that inspires you too!

  1. Hi Julie
I was nominated today for a “Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award?” I was asked to nominate seven bloggers myself, create a post or page, and include a link back to the blog of the person who nominated me. I have done as requested, and I am now nominating you. If you are inclined to take part you can follow this link to the page I created with my responses and all the information you will need. If you don’t want to take part…no worries. God bless. Kim

  2. It looks like I was here before but did not comment on the stellar beauty of the artist? How is this possible? I know it might just be the flash, but you’re positively glowing. 🙂

      1. It doesn’t feel new, if that makes sense. Cuz I feel I’ve seen it before. But, I expected to see my compliment where my first comment appeared.
