Travel Pics – Los Cabos, Mexico

Sometimes I need to take a break from my day job, and my night job (which includes creating art, blogging, posting to social media, cooking, cleaning, working out, taking care of my Kitty, etc etc) in order to relax and recharge my batteries — while also gathering inspiration for new designs!

So, my boyfriend and I decided to take a little trip down to Los Cabos, Mexico, (which is only about a 4 hour flight from Vancouver) and we spent a fun and relaxing 7 days in the area.

Here are some of the highlights from our trip!

This was the view from our hotel room (which included a hot tub on the balcony!) at Royal Solaris Los Cabos Resort and Spa, located in San Jose Del Cabo:

While the resort was all-inclusive we still wanted to get out for a few days to explore the area.  We wound up renting a car and checking out a few spots including Santa Maria Bay (where we did some snorkeling) and the city of Cabo San Lucas.

Besides that we spent most of our days relaxing by the adult pool being served delicious drinks all day long by our attentive waiter Alfredo, and dipping our toes in the ocean here and there (the undertow is too strong there to do much ocean swimming).

Oh and check out all of the awesome loot we got!  As you can see I like tequila, hot sauce, sugar skulls and flip flops 😮

Now it’s back to work, creating new designs and working off all those extra calories!

Let me know if you have any questions about my trip, or about visiting Los Cabos, as I would be happy to try and help!

Cheers,

Julie
