Not sure if you guys remember this piece I shared last summer, but a few months ago I submitted to an ACEO art show and I recently found out I was accepted!! I’ll be one of 50 artists on display at the Hot Art Wet City Gallery for the show CARDED! this Saturday, April 11th 2015.
Check out their website for details! Eventually they will have my work under the past cards 🙂
Anyway it’s a busy month ahead for me with this upcoming show, my graduating art show, and having to move at the end of this month. So I may not be able to post as often as usual. Don’t worry though, I won’t go too far 🙂
I’ve been making so many of these little miniature artworks lately! This is my latest piece, drawn with my new Faber Castel Pitt artist pens combined with collage.
I am trying to work a little bit with shading to make them really pop!
ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals.
ACEO’s are miniature artworks the size of baseball cards, 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size, and they are a spin off of ATC’s or Artist Trading Cards. They are highly collectible (and affordable), and they come in a variety of styles which are sold on eBay and other websites.

Have a great day,
