Japanese Stroll Garden

Since I’m super busy with school right now I’m going to re-blog the last of the photographic series from my old blog. I have lots of artwork and recipes to share with you all soon.

This photographic series was taken in the Nitobe Memorial Garden at UBC in Vancouver, Canada.

Gardens such as these are strategically designed to create feelings of harmony and calm.

There is a long history surrounding the development of Japanese Stroll gardens and what each of the elements represent.
