Hello! Hope you all had a great weekend.
Today I wanted to share this DIY hand painted flower pot I made for my little patio garden I have going on.
The unpainted pot and cute garden gloves are from the Dollar store!
I decided to go with a red base with white polka dots. I used a piece of cardboard with a hole cut in it as a template, to ensure the dots would be relatively the same size.
I also added a cute little lady bug on the rim for an added touch.
After the paint was fully dry (left overnight) I used a clear protective spray paint to coat the entire outside of the pot. The protective spray will help the pot withstand the elements for a while.
This was an easy and cheap project which can easily be completed in an hour or less, and would be fun with the kids too.
Not much else to say today, just enjoying a lazy summer Sunday…
